Post Little Theater Script (1981?):
Boy, Nancy that script and bit of history is comparable to the Iron Man Series by Michael Doran May. Hope they're all in the Archives. Will check the 7 page list of our literary achievements recently sent out by Beret's group.
The Contemplation Song as a corporate CD endeavor sounds exciting. I hope the details and final amalgamation go well. Shades of an album maybe --The Being Song came to my mind and Joyful, Joyful...
Would like to participate. I think Skype or maybe my digital camera would be my choice of transmission giving thought to simplicity as a value for my mastery of all things digital at present.
Just curious, Jim Wiegel, have we done this before? Are there CD's or albums (by way of donation) of our singing in Archives?

Do you remember when the Student House did the play, Journey to the East in 1981? Thelma Newearth (?) and Kay Nixon wrote the script. I'll bet the kids remember.

P'shaw! The Meditative Council is still speaking! It ain't just me; it's an OE thing! Thanks all y'all for the inspiration! Let's not let our heads get too big for blue halos in Heaven in the Here and Now...

Dawn, you are a holy piece of work, “in Joy, Peace and Hope,” always bubbling over with
spirit, it seems. We give thanks for your being here, with being
itself in mystery.
Thank you for daring to share your depth of reflection with your colleagues on the profound journey called life.
Grace and Peace is yours from
spirit at the very heart of you!

Re: Lunch Today and Impromptu Singing
Did my solitary 'sing along' at the end of a long evening on my laptop just last week. Used a church hymnal and two volumes of Then Sings My
Song with bios of hymnist opposite the hymns page. When the spirit occasions these sessions, I usually say to myself, I'm going to sing one or two and go to bed. But I don't stop there. Would you believe four or five? With some of you having similar experiences
would you believe the Spirit is at work amongst us?
Am attending a House Church worship service every other Sunday this summer. And will raise the question of singing on my next visit and still
view an online livestream service from Alaska each week.
Just as an aside and related to Journey to the East--I believe our community lost it's way when we changed Discontinuity night from Monday
to Wednesday in the early 80's and stopped singing and doing Daily Office. That was a time of loss and a bit of our drifting away from our spiritual tools and discipline for me. Still I believe, in retrospect, we were destined to 'find ourselves as a 'beloved
community' in a most quiet and miraculous way. TBTG!

WARNING! May start singing for no reason! I would love a bumper sticker with thse words. I sing most of the day! I'll send my story after
shopping for our 5 community meals next week! I do have stories to tell!
One quick one - Patricia Newkirk and I compiled a new section for our older Songaia songbook.. Of course the old one had New Community Bound,
Rainbow Trails, an a few others from our order days,. The new section now has BELIEVE! My neighbor Marilyn said, "why have you bee hiding this one for so long?" With my memory blips, I may have already told this story, sorry!

My wife bought me a bunch of these bumper stickers for Christmas.
"Warning: May start singing for no reason"
This old song says it all in just the first two verses.
"How Can I Keep From Singing?"
My life goes on in endless song
Above earth's lamentations,
I hear the real, though far-off hymn
That hails a new creation.
Through all the tumult and the strife
I hear it's music ringing,
It sounds an echo in my soul.
How can I keep from singing?
Judy and I had lunch today with Joe and Marilyn Crocker at their place in Wells, ME. Met the Crocker's dog, and sort of spontaneously burst into song . . . Goodby
my Coney Island Baby, Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow, I Don't Know Why, More, . . . Grand finale was the Poverty Song (Come Walk with Francis . . Had to dig out the words for that one. .). Any other strange outbursts happening lately??
