Colleagues, Please use this letter to send on to all potential contributors from within ICA and beyond. Dear colleagues, We hope you have enjoyed reading Winds & Waves. It is now being redesigned. The next issue will be out on 15th September 2015 with a brand new face. The magazine, published by the Institute of Cultural Affairs International, aims to become a forum for individuals and groups involved or interested in issues ranging from education, motivation and human development to planning and facilitation. Its theme is, 'Sharing ideas that work', and its articles range widely in both content and style. Do you have a story, an idea or an experience that you could write about for our next issue? The following are some ideas on the types of articles that you could work on: 1. Photo essay: Do you have an interesting photo? Send it in with a few lines describing what is going on. For more ideas, see the attached “Guidelines for W&W contributors” or review the last edition at http://icai-members.org/windswaves-mag/2015-april/vol-5-april-2015.htm DEADLINES Heads up by 18th July: please send the following details: a. Title of the article b. Estimated number of words c. The number of any accompanying photos or diagrams d. Your name & email and, if you are getting others to write for the magazine, the author's name & email Submission by 8th August: Please include a short bio (a couple of sentences will do) as well as your email, links to your blog or website and the name of the ICA chapter or other organisation you are related to, if any. Please also email a passport size photo of yourself (in jpg format). We want to familiarise contributors to readers. If you have privacy concerns about one or more of these details, please omit them.
