Our presbytery's mission trip to be with long-standing Nicaragua partners was also cancelled, and the Mission Co-Worker assigned there has left temporarily.

Jenny, Winston, Amaru and Amaya are in Managua.  Jenny and Winston are working, Amaru and Amaya are in school.  School term ends in November.

Our church in Davidson, NC  has work in Nicaragua that has been going on for several years.  This year’s mission trip was cancelled because of the reports from the place of the work there.  Although they were in a rural area, the disruption in the towns  and general unrest was the major concern.   We share in concern for Jenny and family and for the people of Nicaragua.
