I'm so glad this conversation is going on.  We have lots of "stuff" in the archives on the Academy but we haven't organized it yet.  We haven't gotten into the conversation because I've been so busy with family obligations (grand children are getting married), Jean Long has been ill, Sally Fenton has had surgery, etc. etc.).  Next week we'll be in the archives more and try to add to your responses.

This is great!  Marge Philbrook

I recall a Tioga-Nicetown HDTS, around May-June 1980.  It was held in basement of an AME church.  I think it was 2-3 weeks.  I was at the opening feast, then packed up for returning to Australia.

Bruce Williams might remember further details.  I still have copies of the poster, placemat, envelope, letterhead etc I designed for the event.

I deaned Tioga-Nicetown;  how about a story??  I only vaguely recall the place name.  Mt st Helen's was in 1980, I think.  How many people?  Was it eight weeks?

Jim Troxel, the Bishops, and Carol Pierce all had time on the Academy staff, as did I for one spring. And many others we are forgetting.
