We are thrilled to announce that the third edition of SessionLab’s State of Facilitation Survey is now launched! In the first two editions of SessionLab’s State of Facilitation report, we learned so much about the careers, practices, and challenges of facilitators worldwide.
This year, we’re excited to hear from facilitators about how the profession is evolving in 2024. Are you using AI in your work, and how? What’s changed in your facilitation practice? Have you discovered any new tools or techniques?
We’re also curious about how facilitation skills are spreading throughout the workplace.
In our 2023 survey, 49% of respondents didn’t identify facilitation as their main role. "f you are leading workshops, designing session agendas, or creating participatory training as part of your daily work, we want to hear from you. You'll find the survey offered in English and with automatic translation to your browser language so you can read and answer in the language of your choice.
Please take some time to add your responses and help us paint a clearer picture of the state of facilitation worldwide. We plan to leave the survey open until the end of October. The report, containing collected data and expert commentary, will be freely available from January 2025 onwards.
