I still think the main originator of the latest such discourse be removed “far away from us” as I was thinking of the question the villagers in Fiddler on the Roof asked the Rabbi: “Is there a blessing for the Tzar?” After much thought the Reb prayed:; “May God bless and keep the Tzar . . . . . . .far away from us.” Certain parts of our body politic still need to be removed, but not by assassination, rather by the ballot box and the duly appointed court system of our beloved Republic.
