mother, Marilyn Oyler, is turning 80 in April. She asked me if I would send her
a card listing a particular gift she brought to the world or at least a card.
No problem- her mom is full of gifts.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12pt;font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">And then this morning John Patterson called me up looking for
an email address. We chatted and he let me know that his 80<sup>th</sup>
birthday was April 22, Earth Day. It is just like John to have his birthday on
the most important day of the year.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12pt;font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">I think it is part of the Order Rule that we send anybody
who makes it to 80 a card holding up a gift. Well, at least a card. I just sent
John a card that said, “I looked all over Chicago for an 80th birthday card,
but nothing. This is as close as I could get- Happy 90<sup>th</sup> birthday-
something to grow into!”</p>
