Just a note to say my beloved Joe passed on to the "next chapter" yesterday at 5:41 AM, after a nearly 48-hour, post-stroke journey.
</div>
<div class="">
Ben, Jon and I were with him for most of that time, and it was a deeply meaning-filled experience of remembering with gratitude.
</div>
<div class="">
All 4 grandchildren and both daughters-in-law were able to visit early in the process of our “watching, waiting and standing present".
</div>
<div class="">
The staff at Watson Fields were amazingly loving and supportive during our sojourn, and gathered to witness Joe's “send-out” into the funeral hearse, accompanied by the singing of <i class="">Amazing Grace</i>.
