two weeks of July. We are focused on the
Archives goal of “CREATING THE FUTURE OF OUR PAST”. </p><p class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954MsoNormal">This first week we (Ed Feldmanis,
Laura Grover, Debra Harris, Karen Snyder) engaged in sorting and scanning Archives
for the website so it is available to the world. Our accomplishments include:</p><p class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954MsoNormal" style="text-indent:0px;"><span class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954">* Emptying 30 file cabinet drawers in the basement</span></p><p class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954MsoNormal" style="text-indent:0px;"><span class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954"><span style="font-stretch:normal;line-height:normal;" class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954">* </span><span style="font-family:New;font-stretch:normal;font-size:7pt;line-height:normal;" class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954"> </span></span><span class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954">Preparing Global Odyssey materials, the Ur
Images course and Religious Studies I (RSI) course for scanning and adding to
the website. </span>We were surprised to find RSI course material in five languages (English, French, German, Korean, Spanish). </p><p class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954MsoListParagraphCxSpLast"></p><p class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954MsoNormal">Our goal for the second week is to post on the website the
Religious, Cultural and Methods course materials from the 1960s that informed the
curriculum for Academies, International Training Institutes, Human Development
Training Schools, and ToP. The Global Archives opening pages can be read in any
language; embedded files can be copied to a Google doc for translation.</p><p class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954MsoNormal">We can use your help in a number of ways:</p><p class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954MsoNormal" style="text-indent:0px;"><span class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954">* Did you participate in one of the seven Global
Odysseys in the 1970s? If you are willing to share your notes about experiences
and photos, scan and email them as soon as possible. Or box and mail them to
the attention of the Global Archives at ICA (4750 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago
60640).</span><span class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954"> </span></p><p class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954MsoNormal" style="text-indent:0px;"><span class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954">* Tell us what should be the next priorities volunteers should work on after we complete the
curriculum. And always it is helpful to know what is helpful/needs help as you view the website.</span></p><p class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954MsoNormal" style="text-indent:0px;"><span class="ydp75dc5135yiv3502567954">* As information is added to the website, there is
much contextual writing needed to make the info more understandable (and
interesting) as well as editing. If you are willing to work with any of the nine
