<div>Oh, how sad.  We are sorry to receive this news.  Following the email updates, we had been hoping she was getting better.  We mourn her passing and give thanks for and celebrate her life.  We remember her beautiful singing in decades past and will miss her presence and particularly her leadership with the Archives Team.  Thanks to all the colleagues whose presence supported and encouraged her and stood vigil as she transitioned into the unknown Unknown.  </div>

<div class="yiv2354770890MsoNormal">With profound sadness I share this message with you on the
Archives Team of the death of Jean Long. </div>

<div class="yiv2354770890MsoNormal">You may know that she was taken to the emergency room March
26^th with a bad leg infection. A half dozen people became part of
her Care Bears team, staying with her each day. Overtime she fought difficulty
swallowing, heart fibrillation, high white blood count, low oxygen rate, low
blood pressure and pneumonia. She was taken back to the ICU early this morning (April 8) and passed
away at 10:30 AM. </div>

<div class="yiv2354770890MsoNormal">I know you share with all Jean's colleagues our sadness today
and our gratitude for her life. </div>
