I moved into the "Epleys old room" which is how we designated rooms back then. It was on the third floor of a beautiful Denver mansion just off City Park. The third floor had been the ballroom in the house. A day or two after I arrived I was talking with these bright, inquisitive girls, Vida and Michaela Welch (arround 9 and 11 or so). I had been out of the country for 4 years and knew nothing of current music or videos. They said they had gotten a video of "Jumping Jack Flash" with Whoopi Goldberg (who?) and did I want to watch it with them that night?</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large">My first experience of Whoopi!! We laughed until we almost threw up. It is still in my top 10. From that night on, Vida and Michaela and Mark and Catherine sort of adopted this single lady and for every eventfulness that could be created I was invited to share it with them.
