have decided that, unless there is a miracle tonight, Kristen will be
taken off of life support starting tomorrow morning. An MRI yesterday

just returned from Monterey, CA where Kristen lived. On Sunday Kyle,
her brother; Frank, her father. Robert<font size="2"> </font>Moselle, her?significant?other
and I went to the hospital where a group of doctors were there to meet
us. We had a private room together and the doctors spoke in
understandable terms so we could clearly understand the process she was
in and we got the information to make the decisions we needed to make.<font size="2"> </font>
It all started last Wednesday when she had had her big toe amputated,
had flu-like symptoms with a high temperature. They found her on the
floor in the hospital and thought it was a heart att<font size="2">a</font>ck as her heart
stopped but she had had a massive stroke to the brain and the only
option for her future was 24/7 care in an institution. So on Tuesday we
gathered around her and had the machines turned off and let our
precious girl go. I brushed her hair. She was wearing a piece of
jewlery I had made her. She was holding a drawing that Roxanne, the
niece that she adored, had made for her. Kyle downl<font size="2">o</font>aded her
favorite music that we played, We gave her a beautiful pink rose and
white lily. We sat around the bed telling "Kristen" stories. She was
ready to go so it didn't take her long. Off she went on a whole new
journey<font size="2">. </font>Thanks for all your prayers and notes of support, The hospital
was the most beautiful places I have ever been and we strongly felt the
support of the staff there at all times.<br>
