[Oe List ...] MY THIRD ACT: The Sea of Tranquility in Turning 70

 MY THIRD ACT: Turning 70 - Ten years ago, when I turned 60, I created a
life map of my first six decades, giving each one a title, and wrote some
swirls that occurred during those periods. I also added a sentence on my
Big Feel, Big Think, and a summary for each chapter of life.

I also created a seventh chapter of what I thought would happen in my next
decade, both things I would welcome and mourn. One was to support my
parents with graceful and loving endings if they should pass during this
time. Another was to welcome the next generation into our family if I
should be so lucky. Many movements were beyond my control, but in the last
several years, both my parents died, and I indeed became a new grandfather.
It was a Circle of Life decade I had titled Spiritual Synthesis, and I feel
good with this naming these ten years later. Many moons before I became a
Substack author, I published this life map on my Marshall Books blog.

This month, I’m turning 70, reflecting on the last ten years, and mapping
my next decade. I’m reposting my previous map, with some notes on the last
ten years, and publishing the next ten years from 2026 to 2035.
