[Oe List ...] way finding

A story-
In the mid 80's, when the student house was still in Chicago.  One of Jack
and Nebaj Silk's son was there.
I remember when they had new kids delivering the papers who were spatially
challenged and consistently got lost.  They would have the young man do
their routes with them and somehow he could teach them how to track and no
longer get lost.
I remember thinking maybe the out-rigger canoe's and centuries of traveling
those islands taught himself we could not understand.  Mystery is
everywhere.
