[Oe List ...] Mary Lou Vergara at home

Mary Lou asked me to send a note that she is back home and will be cared for there as her girls will be returning to work and school for a while.

She is so delighted to be back in her familiar surroundings.  When I spoke to her Sunday afternoon she was surrounded by daughters
Teresa and Kristina; Van, a grandson; a member of the Vergara family from the Philippines; a nurse;  and a dear friend Patrice, a work
colleague from her Atlanta days as a geriatric social worker.   A member of the church was also there with a tiny harp playing at her bedside.

Mary Lou said she enjoys hearing familiar voices, but does not have energy for talking long.  She also appreciates cards and e-mails, and would enjoy hearing from colleagues, with poetry, songs  and prayers, chuckles,  memories and updates from you.
