David,
Lynda & John Cock were the anchors.
I was able to get all my daughters in courses.
Two pieces that stood out for me. Larry’s daughter, Lela, began crying on
the first evening during the Bultnan discussion. When asked, she said,
“this is what my Grandparents have been talking about all these years”.
The other was good old Bonhoeffer freedom & responsibilty. “I don’t
understand that?’ From one participant, we took a break & when we came
back, John started off saying let’s start with the last question. The
participant replied, “we don’t have to, Hannah explained it to me’. Hannah
is my #2, she was the youngest in the course. For the remainder of the
course, John would turn to Hannah & say is that right Hannah?
It was structured more like a dialogue where the “concepts” were presented
& then group & small group discussions were held.
I attended the one in Denver.
One of my curiosities is what is the impact of our worldview on our
children?
