[Oe List ...] OE Digest, Vol 148, Issue 19

Lela (my daughter) and I picked mike up at the airport in June.  He was
coming for a high school reunion and to meet a long lost cousin.  We
dropped him at Brooke's place.

Significant to me because I had not seen him for many years.  Nice
conversation of colleagues who have known each other forever but not worked
closely for a long time.  Nice conversation as parents whose adult children
are very close and supportive of each other.

It reminded me in that moment of the gentle determined spirit that was
Micheal Tippett.  Showing up and being the presence of affirmation.

He will be missed.
