I am NOT an expert on this part of the world, but am concerned about how we can revisit the interlocking traumas that create this kind of suffering.  Triggering on all sides - and divided US politics - has fed into incredible misery.  That's a given.  But - next steps?  Biden seems to be walking a tightrope made necessary by multiple dynamics; calling him out as a 'puppet' of Netanyahu as the 'master' does not seem to reflect that reality. The unconscionable attack on Israeli citizens came from an equally unconscionable occupation of Gaza and so forth back to the Palestinian Mandate and post WWII guilt over the blind eye and rejection of exiles from Germany. Each violent step - including the Stern Gang et. al. has led to this disaster.  But moralism and fingerpointing will not change the reality on the ground. 

We are living in a time of ethnic cleansing, abuse of immigrants and tribalism all around us.  Picking our tribes isn't the answer.
