Thank you, Lynda, for these updates.  We were aware of the Shanklands re-location, and knew that they we looking forward to connecting with colleagues “out east”.  Good wishes and prayers for your health to you and John.  We’ve not been in touch with the Stovers for many years, and never spent an extended time assigned with them, however, the deep connections of the Order make us always hoping for the well-being of colleagues near and far.

Eunice and Sherwood Shankland have returned to the East Coast and are only several hours from us in NC.   We look forward to healthy days and good travel weather to get together soon.
They have moved to be nearer to their family near Raleigh and their old stomping grounds near Fairfax., VA.     

Their new address is 357 Hammond Oaks Lane, Wake Forest, NC 27587.  Phone numbers and e-mails are the same as in Directory.   

Welcome Shanklands!   Our son Jono spent a few months with them when as a recent college graduate (a long time ago!!), when he landed a job in WDC.   
Sherwood and Eunice …and later Robert were part of the Indonesia contingent back in early 80’s.  

Here in the Piedmont of NC, colleague Nelson Stover, our former neighbor in Greensboro, has been undergoing chemo treatment for prostate cancer.  He recently was hospitalized for a week with complications 
from the chemo, but is home now and doing much better.  His most recent report is that after 5 treatments, his PSA has shown a welcome significant  decrease.  We celebrate this good news with 
Nelson and Elaine.

We share Area Bombay history with the Stovers and a long time history as neighbors in Greensboro.  The Stovers were instrumental in an early technical  job procurement of our  younger son Jeremiah.  (also a long time ago!)
It surely takes a village.

Speaking of The Directory,  Michael Tippett (who worked in NC for the HDP Consult in Gibsonville a long time ago) )reported that the 2023 Directory is at the printers and that we should look forward to a surprise cover.  Hope you have your orders in for one.
