[Oe List ...] Joe Crocker's Passing

Marilyn and family,

This is a sacred moment as we stand present with you and your  family in the passing of Joe.
He was one of our early heroes in the leadership of our OE community and the work of renewal of the Local Church.
We are grateful for our work with you folks in Area NY and with later JWM and Bishop Jim events.  What a team you two have been!
I can almost hear him joining a choir and singing  “for I have touched the hem of his garment and his love has made me whole.”

Dear Colleagues on the Long March of Love,

Just a note to say my beloved Joe passed on to the "next chapter" yesterday at 5:41 AM, after a nearly 48-hour, post-stroke journey.
Ben, Jon and I were with him for most of that time, and it was a deeply meaning-filled experience of remembering with gratitude.
All 4 grandchildren and both daughters-in-law were able to visit early in the process of our “watching, waiting and standing present".
The staff at Watson Fields were amazingly loving and supportive during our sojourn, and gathered to witness Joe's “send-out” into the funeral hearse, accompanied by the singing of Amazing Grace.

God gives, and God takes away, and we give thanks.
