Thank you, Frank! And Thank you, Sunny! What a gift you have given to us with such a powerful message even 50 years later.  “Finish our work” still applies.

Moving story of the work of Linda Barnes.  Great to see so many colleagues.  I think I recognized young Mary Wilson in some project talking to someone.  Definitely saw Joyce Ollison Sloan, Mary Warren Moffett, Lela Mosley and Ruth Carter and Betty Veal from 5th City, also Lily Fox.  I’m going to share this with Lily and hope she can get it to Betty Veal.   A great message to share !

Sunny, thank you for this first class presentation, and Frank, thank you for your gift of transforming this presentation into this renewed format.

 I recall Frank working on the 6th floor surrounded by 37 carousels of slide shows.
Another fun fact, Marge Philbrook  organized 975 Cassettes which were numbered, stored, and listed by content and date.

Change up today. At the beginning of phase 2 of  the Archive Project in 2011 I ran across a carousel and narration by Sunny Walker. I was able to transfer her material to a movie format, adding & enhancing photos. The result you will see here.

Remember, this is more than 50 years ago. Sunny did a remarkable job with the sub-themes & sound track that resulted in a great story. Enjoy!

It seems appropriate, on the other side of yesterdays Roe vs Wade, to watch this video.
