Ellen, I remember you and Dick from the ICA area meetings we used to have at Shepherd’s Spring. I’ve always enjoyed your posts and comments. I grieve with you that Dick will be going on to better things and that you’ll be left to continue on without him. And I also know that you are celebrating his life and his being.

Thank you Karen for letting us know of Dick Howie's passing.  Ellie and I have known and loved the Howie's since the Seventies and the Local Church Experiment in the former Rochester Region.  What an incredible person Dick has been over the years in the Spirit Movement and in his local community!  He will be greatly missed.  Our thoughts and prayers to Ellen and the Howie Family and friends as we all celebrate his life and mourn his passing.

I am writing on behalf of Ellen Howie to share the news of her husband, Dick Howie’s death Wednesday, June 2nd at 12:30 AM. After being in and out of the hospital since Sunday, Ellen was with Dick this morning when he died peacefully, having had the opportunity for family to say their goodbyes in the past couple of days.  More information will be shared about celebrating Dick's life in the near future.
