Thank you for sharing the wonderful update on Rev Kang Byoung Hoon and family. We enjoyed our time over the years knowing & working with him & his family as a key mentor as we worked across Asia. We have stayed in touch with him over the years, but lost touch with him after moving to Georgetown, Texas. Good to know his daughters will be joining the family to help care for wife/mother.

Grace & Peace

He sounds strong and clear and happy. In addition to asking about my family, he asked how other people were doing who had worked in South Korea over the years. He asked me to send him a copy of the ICA Directory which I have just done. I also sent him the URL for the website of the ICA archives/social research center. He talked about the celebrations taking place this month: the 88th birthdays of his wife Mrs. Park Jae Eun and himself, and their 60th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Park has been in the hospital for the past six months. One of their daughters returned to Korea from the US to be with her mother. She is returning now, and another daughter will be coming for a few months. All four of the Kang's children are both ordained and have their doctorates. He asked for the phone numbers of my two sons. He spoke of his love for so many people in the OE/ICA.
