Thank you Dawn for your birthday witness.

A Muslim associate and I were walking down a street in Mumbai in the early
70s
A dead body was being taken to be cremated by the family.
She then told me of a Muslim practice.
She was taught and encouraged to say quietly
'You go ahead,
I follow after"
(This is a loose translation)

This practice allows one to own one's own death.
