Check out Lorie Burch who is running a very competitive race in Texas’ 3rd Congressional District to replace Sam Johnson, the Republican who is retiring after having been there longer than God. Lorie has a strong GOP opponent and the battle is uphill, but it’s winnable.

I just donated to these three women with super powers (to take back Congress) and hope you Texans will get on their chuck wagons!

>> Fletcher won a bitter Democratic primary over activist Laura Moser in a district that party leaders are hoping to flip in November. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee published opposition research on Moser, who still made it to a runoff election against Fletcher but was unable to build momentum during the next two months. Fletcher is a first-time candidate. She faces a male opponent in the general election.

In a viral introductory ad, she shows viewers how she opened “doors” throughout her career, facing many that slammed in her face. Behind one closed door was her now-opponent, Rep. John Carter, who she says in the ad she tried to lobby to lift the combat ban.
