Such amazing stories of our unique history. Yes, great to see the stories of these young ones bending history in so many ways. Thank you for sharing. Lynda

Remembering winter of '70 'leaving West Side with Al Lingo and daughter Traci for India. Adam was born in late March at a very well appointed St. Elizabeth's Nursing Home staffed by Catholic nuns. Just a little while after his birth the Order Staff met frequently for planning and spiritual nourishment in the Holcombe's compartment on the train with high spirits on our way to Jabalpur in the South of the country. Got acquainted with the Crocker twins Benjamin and Jonathan, while Adam was yet an infant. Marilyn and Joe's boys were great crawlers--they had adapted a butterfly technique for literally swimming across the floor from one end of the room to the other when we had breaks in our faculty meeting and planning sessions.

Seems all of these amazing kids no longer have all landed well for the most part as they continue to carve out their path and participation on the Way. Journey to the East is still a great corporate touchstone as we face the future sharing a common story that just might enable us to coalesce into a unified, inclusive body bound for the Promised Land.

G&P,
Dawn

What a treat to be reminded of the “double treats” all the twins were to our community. I was always in deep admiration to the moms who birthed their twins (or any child) while on assignments in developing nations and to all the couples who birthed twins and managed parenthood as part of the Order Comminity🌍🌎🌏

......And to follow some of them as they grew and were loved by a larger community beyond their parents💗🦋
