My Tibetan Buddhist teacher says mankind is in the Bardo between two epochs of planetary evolution, very much like what was experienced at the time of the original Pentecost. It is a tug of war between the crystallized energy patterns of the past and new energy forms charged for the future. Interestingly, 2017 is the year that was prophesied as the year the Buddha would return. In the meditations to open the heart in order to receive energy flowing from the center of the Milky Way galaxy, my teacher gives permission to imagine it as Christ Consciousness or as Buddha Consciousness.

I agree that Earth is a more appropriate word than World. World is a political term, Earth is more comprehensive. As one of our best song writers I trust your judgements and would urge you to do the editing to bring that song into our lexicon we can sing with gusto and Spirit!

This song was a powerful one for me, even with its old style gender.  I never did find a replaceable word that fit the meter and the meaning.  Wish I could hear some of our great voices and our not so great voices singing this on this Pentecost Sunday.  I recall how the harmony filled the room with its power.
