Dear Bill and family,
It is with deep saddness and profound gratitude that Richard and I say good by to Annette. Several years ago we became facebook friends and I enjoyed having a small window back into your lives. I deeply appreciated knowing you all back in 1972-73 in Chicago. I can remember family drives to work in your family car which rose up and down! You were both caring, fun-loving and ready for the adventure of living in Chicago. Thank you for being part of this adventure.
Lovingingly, Jan Sanders and Richard Sims

Annette and Bill were such gracious regional colleagues in the region when we were sent to the Atlanta House. Her care will be missed. Joan Knutson
I’m so sorry to hear of Annette’s passing. Please send our condolence to Bill and family.

Dear Lynda,
Thank you for passing on this very sad news.
I was very fond of Annette, and Bill.
I remember them clearly.
Right now the funeral of Brian Robins is proceeding. I know that Jonathan will offer so much support and love.
In peace,
Isobel.

We have received word that colleague Annette Bingham has completed her earthly journey this afternoon.
Many of you will remember Bill and Annette from their year in Chicago in the early 70’s with their 4 children, Allen, Lorrie, Jeb, and Daniel. Bill, an Economics Prof at NCState University, was part of the economic team at the Maliwada HDP consult and both Annette and Bill were at the Woburn Lawn consult. Annette was on the panchayat trek around 1980. Their son Allen, a UMC minister in the area hit by Matthew, spent a year in Kenya. Bill and Annette traveled back to Maliwada with Nelson and Elaine this past year and were met by one of the village elders who came forth with his treasured copy of the HDP document and showed a certificate with Bill’s signature on it.
Nelson asked me to pass this on to the list and he will collect remembrances to take to the family on Saturday. His address is above. See his note below. You may also post them on the OE list as we collectively remember this amazing woman who journeyed with us.
Our care to the family in Raleigh, NC. Lynda

Thank you for making us aware of Annette’s condition. Elaine and I went to Raleigh today. We were at the hospital during the last hour of her life. After she passed, we shared the moment with Bill, Allen, Jeb and Lorrie.
Her soul is in peace.
I think the funeral will be Saturday morning in Raleigh. Elaine and I are currently planning to attend. There may be another celebration of her life on or around Nov. 1.
Take care.
Nelson and Elaine
