[Oe List ...] Karen Armstrong's new book. Can someone show her the social process triangles?

Dharma,
Thanks for reminding us that the SP is a system of interrelated, interdependent parts. And as with all systems, the whole is greater than and other than the parts. In our time the E and the P are interacting as if the C did not exist, and that's a problem. Perhaps Armstrong is suggesting that the lines should be more blurred and the dynamics more blended in order to achieve balance. Appreciate your insights.

So, actually, the problem is that, in terms of perception, the lines are not getting blurred they are getting more sharply defined so that people don't see the interactions between the three ie: the imbalances.

One of the messages I get from Armstrong is, were she to organize society as we do in the SP, she would likely say that the lines separating the economic from the political from the cultural are becoming very blurred, maybe even to the point is seamlessness. I certainly see some of this in the ways of the world. What say you? Are these lines disappearing and, if so, is this a good thing or something responsible people should try to counteract?
