Beatifully spoken, Jaime.  We are also remembering the Whitney Family today
as they gather for the memorial of their son, brother, husband and father,
Peter Whitney.  Indeed the tag of grief is present with each of these
families with whom we've journeyed through the years.  
 
I loved the singing that Jim started and was picked up around the globe.  A
song and line that came to my mind was "Dawns the World in  AWE  FULL
wonder...Chained to my contingency....Then there groans a new creation, all
anew, within recast.  In unfolding transformation Pains a passion
unsurpassed. "   I gave deep thanks for the wisdom and the poetic
undergirdings of our lives together.

Three marched with great valor to life's terminus and we all felt the tag of
grief in our being as the intimations of our own mortality chimed in.
Georgianna McBurney, Barbara Alerding, and Tony Elizondo clearly added to
who I am, so to lift their presence is to honor the breath of life they
imparted that is still my privilege to breathe. 


The fourth great orchestra of care is still very much in our midst, and we
all have stories to tell of Marge Philbrook when we encountered her; we all
cheer for her for the great work she continues to perform for all of us in
the archives.  In the same manner as Georgianna, Barbara, and Tony, the
Marge of my acquaintance is indelibly marked in my being as well.


Grand parades for which the tip of the finger solemnly and respectfully hit
the brow!
