I've enjoyed reading all these stories submitted about Marge. I'm sure there are more.
I have not the honor of working with Marge. My close encounter with her has been during visits to Chicago for ICA board meetings. I very much look forward to her welcoming smiles, warm embrace and stories of anything and everything; the early days of the Order, people, places and families. She has her way of making everyone around her feel welcomed and everything alright.
I'm sorry I can't be at her special celebration on Sunday. I sent a donation to ICA on her behalf.
Happy Birthday Marge. See you at next visit.

>One summer, JWM assigned Marge to work in the print shop during the summer program, knowing fully well she had no experience in print shop running. He must also have known she would take on the task with good spirits and creativity. Her one request was for two men who did not have family responsibilities and who would not go to the bathroom without asking permission. By this time Marge was fully aware of time demands of working on any project during the summer program. So... knowing her hours would be long, Marge went to Sears and bought two blue dresses. She would wear one of the blue dresses, shower in it, so both Marge and the dress would be clean. She would sleep a few hours, put on the second blue dress and head to the print shop for another day - and repeat the process during the whole summer program. She did not go into the condition of the dresses following her stint in the print shop.
