Terry,  It is my understanding that the funeral is Friday, August 9. 

 Just double-checked with Pat Turner and the 9th is the correct date as they wanted to be sure everyone would have time to make reservations and get there.

Ruth's funeral will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013, at the People's Church of the Harvest, 3570 W. 5th Avenue, Chicago, IL 60624. The Wake will begin at 10:00am followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00am. Repass will take place at the 5th City Community Center, 3350 W. Jackson after the Service. 


The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the 5th City Preschool. Cheques can be sent directly to the preschool at 3411 W 5th Ave, Chicago, IL 60624. Alternatively, the donation button on the www.ica-usa.org website is a mechanism for using credit cards or PayPal. Simply indicate this is in memory of Ruth and all money received will be forwarded to the Preschool.
