Our local Presbyterian, Methodist and Anglican churches are all close to
death. No full time pastors, and can't afford their retirement payments.

Not exactly sure what to make of this, but this unravelling may be a sign
of the beginning of the end of the institutionalization of ecumenism in
the USA. Mr. Rockefeller's vision was to keep all these agencies together in
the God Box. BTW I used to work there.
