Wonderful memories. I was in Chicago at the time and helped prepare one of our publications reporting on the Singapore ITI. Soon after, JWM called Mary and me and asked if we would be assigned to the KL house in PJ with the Knutsen's. We left CTS, and off we
went, meeting Dharma, Symond Kock, the Jayasakera's and many others, and having many adventures. Don and Christina (Welty) Clark were in Singapore, and Vance Engleman was in Djakarta. Gratitude for this life. Now here we are in 2023 having more adventures
of serving people and planet. </div>

the 100th anniversary of what was Milingimbi Methodist Mission. Rev Tony Goodluck who is the Moderator of the Northern Synod of the Uniting Church shared memories of his childhood when his parents were missionaries for the Methodist Church. He concluded his
presentation by singing “Run into the Future Run” which was so apt as on 14th October the Australian people will vote to change the nation’s constitution to include recognition of the First Nations and to have a VOICE to the Parliament. While this invitation
(known as the Uluru Statement From the Heart) is to all Australians and comes after a rigorous process of consultation among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders it is no means certain it will pass. Unfortunately we are witnessing the lifting of the lid
of a deep vein of racism particularly among older Australians. Perhaps you can remember this upcoming in your prayers!</span></div>
