The "family" Mike refers to in his message means all the children, teachers, volunteers, et al.</div>

<div>We know you are concerned about our family in Nepal after the 7.9 magnitude earthquake which occurred just before noon today, Kathmandu time. We have received the following reassuring news from Michael:<BR><BR><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: tahoma,geneva,sans-serif">"All the family is safe. There has been quite a bit of damage in Dhapasi, the new Dragon house across the street has imploded . Our properties (houses) are structurally okay. The insides a mess. Aftershocks continue but have decreased substantially in magnitude.<BR>There is no power so water may become an issue but for now everything is fine and I am optimistic that it will continue in this direction. I am on our battery system and internet is fine. Children have calmed down and I have everyone back inside cleaning, another aftershock just shook pretty hard as I type but they are not as strong.
