I am on both lists so I don't miss anything.<div><br></div><div>The one annoyance I have is the frequency with which people respond to the same message on both lists. This, to me, is an indication of confusion, either of the lists themselves or of the users. I am in at least one othe community that operates multiple lists with different purposes and I have never seen this cross-responding issue before. </div>
<div><br></div><div>If there is a need to maintain two lists, I think simpler, clearer delineation of the intents is called for (perhaps along the lines that Shelley articulated). If you are sending a message and feel you want/need to send it to both lists, that is an indication of a problem. . . iMHO. Of course.<span></span><br>

</div><div>At my advanced old age (as I am reminded on these lists), I of course no that things get into history for different reasons and then remain after those reasons no longer apply. The OE listserve was initiality to address concerns related to sexual abuse of the emerging generation in the order, but this is not longer addressed on that listserve.</div>
