I happened to be in Delta Pace at the time of Jenny’s death. March ’77?

I think that Frank & Sandra were away at the funeral of voter and civil rights hero, Fannie Lou Hamer (who I had also met).

A big wind came through and blew down a high-peaked abandoned store front, instantly killing Jenny Washington (early twenties). She was alone in front as I recall. Hearing the bang, I came around the corner and knelt beside her.
