[Dialogue] [Oe List ...] May You Feel Blessed in This Holiday Season

I was told at some point that the reason we moved in at night from the back
of the building on the one rear elevator was because we did not want to
advertise to the neighborhood that we were "moving in" with all our earthly
belongings to live there - not just work there.
There were 3 showers in the building: one on 8th; one on 4th and one in the
basement. It was pretty interesting to try to plan your shower times for
when the lines were short. We "built" our apartments out of file cabinets
and desks. It was pure creativity all around! Luckily, there was a very
large full service cafeteria on the 1st floor. There were many bathrooms
but few showers so we built men's and women's showers on every floor. The
Guardians inkinded many building materials for us. Jay Antenen Sr. of
Cincinnati inkinded most of the walls and the doors for floors 4,5, 6, 7,
and 8 from his many friends and contacts in the building industry in Ohio.
