Iron Eyes addresses the Dakota Access Pipeline during a sold out TEDx event in Charlottesville, VA. Do not allow the fight for clean water to be racialized. What the Governor, Law Enforcement & Media are engaging in, is villainizing, dehumanizing & trying to preempt the moral & legal authority in this battle. They are creating an other, making people fear an Indian gathering when half the people are not Indian. Fear mongering. Water doesn't care what color your skin is, what language you speak or whether you lean left or right. Let's build bridges not walls.
