In any case, we are thinking of you and those who will likely be impacted more than our colleagues. Seems that the rain following the storm may be really destructive, even over into Texas (where last week there were fires).

Jack,I read that hurricane-force winds will be felt only within about 30 miles of the center. I gather you guys will be a little further out than that. Randy

It’s a a very tight storm, not like a large typhoon or Katrina. It will hit south of PV and so those high winds will be there. Projections show around 70-90 mph sustained winds for us, which is a Category 1. Lots of rain, but that doesn’t affect our homes. It will be tonight when it hits. Everything put away in my house. Working on the others.
Thanks to you all for your prayers. The poor will always suffer more in this kind of event.
Peace,
Jack

Dear Colleagues,
Safe so far. Hurricane to hit south of here in about 3 hours. We’ve moved Rod to the higher ground, up to Helen Heal’s home. All furniture moved and porch cleared. Mandatory evacuation ordered by the military for all who live on the beach. Strongest storm in the history of the Earth! Will do Facebook updates as long as we have internet. We have solar power so we’ll be okay.
Peace,
Jack

The strongest hurricane to ever make landfall is coming ashore near where he lives in Mexico.  Anyone have news from Jack?
