Dear Barbara,
She took me under her wing when we arrived in 5th city. She gave me a nick
name (the only one I have ever really had). She sat at the top of the
stairs on the West Side when you came in the Trumbull entrance. Some how
she always had collating for me to do after school. "How many Bonhoeffer
papers can you put together in 30 minutes?" she would say. Sometimes there
were deep conversations and sometimes snacks, but always Barbara. That is
almost 50 years ago. WOW

Thanks Barb

*Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough,
and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to
clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger
into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today,
and creates a vision for tomorrow*.
