[Dialogue] How did the Elephants know?!

Remember the wisdom of John Knox in The Event and the Story?  A story is true if (1) it did happen, (2) it could have happened or (3) it conveys some deeper truth.  (I'm paraphrasing this from my memory of what Knox said, so it may not be what he "really" said, but he could have.)

Hmm, maybe a few tweaks, but overall the story is actually true. Maybe not as heartstring pulling, but still pretty incredible.
