It is easier to do with other people's kids who grew up with your own. On my recent India trip I had amazing conversations with the kids who grew up with Rachel. The conversations made them age so they are no longer kids but adults I know. Sometimes I see Rachel as an adult and other times as a kid. The wonder of perspective.
