Our insight in demythologizing the "Book" was to look at what is going on in my life and use that experience as a basis of theology - - this is the way our fathers in the faith talked about that experience.  

String theory may indeed be part of my experience but I wouldn't know it if it bit me on the ankle.  

Tell me what's going on in your life and relate that to some theory, not the other way around.

Maybe more folks could relate to that approach.  You think?
