[Dialogue] Reducing Junk Text in Posts?

Looking at this post from David Walters below.

What can be done to have real text with real information.
Does everyone know that this is a text only list serve?

Attachements of any kind to emails don't seem to attach and create "scrubs"

dialogue + clicking return button also seems to create junk posts

Do I have this right?
